Suzanne Pleshette

 

Suzanne Pleshette was an American stage, film, and voice actor. She lived from January 31, 1937, until January 19 2008. Pleshette started out as a theatre actress. She was a part of films during the 1950s in the latter half of the decade. Later, Pleshette was a prominent actor in movies such as Rome Adventure (1962), Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds (633) and Spirited Away (12001). Later, she was a part of various television shows, usually as guest actors, and was Emily Hartley on The Bob Newhart Show from 1972 until 1978. She earned numerous Emmy Award nominations for her role.
